Eye Cream

The random thought in my head for today is about eye cream.   I'm not a doctor, clinician or whatnot, but I do use face cream and no eye cream.  Seriously, I do not get the point of a separate eye cream.  I use Oil of Olay and other face creams twice a day after washing with a washcloth.   I smear them all over my face including around my eyes.   No, I do not get the cream in my eyes, because my eyes are closed.   No, I do not have crow's feet or whatnot.   If someone could help me out to let me know the point of spending A LOT of extra money for eye cream, I'm down.   I'll try it out.  Frankly, I did try one.  It did nothing different than what I have already had.

However, with all that being said, I can see the point of covering up dark circles.   Those have to go.  Totally have to go.   And also, what about those puffy circles under the eye?   I know.  I'm waiting for someone out there to say, "Hey, that's what the eye cream is for."   Really?  Because believe it or not that puffiness under the eye can be fat.   Yes, fat.   My girlfriend had her puffy bags removed.   I had no idea that they could be removed.   They can.

Before I stop giving away my beauty secrets, I have one more.   Pond's cold cream with the green top.  Don't get the blue for cleansing.   It's the green top you  need.   That's actually all you need.   Just Pond's and a warm washcloth.   The washcloth is great.  It cleans and exfoliates all at the same time.

So, as another day closes on us all, we can all smear on the face cream on our face, around our nose and not to forget the eyes.  It's gonna save us all money.   With all that money, we can smile.   Because unlike the unsmiling lady, I smile.  And when you smile, it makes people happy.

That's what the point of this blog is all about. To keep the smile a robot's face. Which, in and of itself, is an oxymoron considering I didn't know a robot could smile. LOVE IT!!!

THINKING by Walter Wintle

WHAT A TRIP!!

Sometimes I wonder about myself.  I don't know what it is, but during my daily routine when things happen, they're very entertaining. I went to San Diego on Thursday.  Yuppers, flew from Lawton again.   Yes, Lawton's flights get cancelled all the time.  It's not the outgoing flight that's the problem, but the return flight.  Which, yeah.  It did.  It got cancelled on the way back from this trip, also.   However, this time they gave me a hotel.  Usually, I end up spending the night in the airport.  Three times I've done that.  Not cool. Not cool at all.  You'd think I would have learned by now, nope.  Plus, the airport is sooo convenient distancewise so I keep going back for more.  So, yes, I did it again. I flew from Lawton. I'm on the 10:10 morning flight. Boarding time is 9:40.  We're good.  No worries. I got this.  I did have a busy night getting ready with all the normal stuff, plus throwing in ...

LEAP DAY

This is a leap year.   Big things can happen in leap years.  Odd things.  Rare things.  Sometimes they're great. Sometimes not. Presidential elections happen in leap years.  That could be a blessing or a curse.  Depends on what side of the fence you're on.  Or wall, even. It's also an Irish tradition that women propose to their man on Leap Day.  I read about that on the internet. Apparently, St. Brigid was given the Luck O' the Irish from Ole St. Patrick to "ALLOW" women to propose one day a year every four years.  Thanks for the permission.  I think I'll pass. That's the news I read today on the internet.  That and the Oscars hullabaloo.  Not much.  Well, wait.  I did just get a message that 5 Hour Energy received a judgment against 6 Hour Power for up to 22 million.  Now that's some news.  Especially, knowing that back in the day I took the depositions of the top Founder and CEO of  5 Hour Ener...
